I so want to be kind because I really do like Bob Goff. But this is bad theology and it’s bad thinking.
Is there good content in the book? Yes. Should you read it? Yes. However, don’t read it with the assumption that you’ll walk away with a treasure chest full of leadership wisdom.
“Dream Big” is more than this. There are plenty of good chapters in it. You’ll be motivated to follow your dreams.However, the book is massively flawed.
Rubenstein conducted interviews with some of the greatest entrepreneurs and leaders known today.
While the book is helpful and highly recommended, be careful not to make it law. Our hearts need grace and a lot of it.
His chapter on Grant’s battle with alcohol is scholarly and moving. Civil War junkies will love this book.

You’ll walk away full of hope, believing that people can still do good. This story reminded me to look for those who are the rescuers in times of crisis.
She walks you through his lineage, friends, followers and enemies.
