This book convicted me.
God used it to expose my own perfectionism.
Also, I desire to be real and authentic and not worry about expectations.
But I fail constantly.
Brant reminded me that by playing to the crowd, I’m feeding my ego so I can feel better about myself when in reality, I need to rest in the fact that Jesus is pleased with me because of His sacrifice.
You need this book.
Lord knows I did.
I give it 5 out of 5 stars.
And there’s a big bonus…he talks about Kermit the Frog in the book.
How can you not like a book that brings Jesus to confront your pride while also discussing Kermit?
