2020: Book #27
I’ve made a decision to always be reading a book that points me back to Jesus.
Dane Ortlund’s book, “Gentle and Lowly: The Heart of Christ for Sinners and Sufferers”, doesn’t just point you to Jesus, it unveils the heart of Christ and draws you to Him.
What a phenomenal book.
“For those united to Him, the heart of Jesus is not a rental; it is your new permanent residence. You are NOT a tenant; you are a child. His heart is NOT a ticking time bomb; his heart is the green pastures and still waters of endless reassurances of his presence and comfort… it is who He is.”

I could quote half the book.
It’s that good.
So far, this is my favorite book of 2020.
Buy it.
Read it.
Consume it.
Believe it.
I give it 5 stars out of a possible 5.
